As Switzerland has done, as the UK is trying to do, and as the groundwork is being layed out in Canada.
Notice that the three countries mentioned do not have election fraud issues.
Be very very careful of what you wish for. The reason I mention this is that once digital ID is implemented worldwide, NO one will be " immune" or free from ANY Government scrutiny. That includes Health, Financial and Educational information. Which by the way includes any small business owner all the way up to the upper echelons. Any Teacher all the way up to College administrators.
With that comes the real reason behind what is happening. That is Power, and that power comes the ability to reward to punish, to Subjugate, and name me one modern day politician that has not used their power to do so in some way. Digital ID gives the holder's of such power carte blanche to control every aspect of an individuals life. They literally hold the balance of life and death and tyranny.

We DO NOT need another form of ID. Certified copy of birth certificates or citizenship documentation should suffice. Absolutely NO DIGITAL ID is needed to ensure election integrity.
Agree with you totally. Possibly you misunderstood what I was trying to convey. This is not just a voter issue. If you think I was speaking to voter ID, you missed the point and the message entirely.
I totally understand it's not just about election integrity. Just making the point that voter ID is a hot topic issue the govt will use to try and gain compliance to digital ID, and it's not a valid excuse. We must stand against digital ID because of all the ramifications you listed. Sorry if I missed your point. Just trying to make a small one of my own.

I had. It really thought in this direction, but we SHOULD ALL consider the digital ID ramifications prior to EVERY DECISION
