Congratulations! The House Votes to Fund Israel with Stand-Alone $14B Bill!
Time to Pressure the Senate to pass a similar stand-alone bill.
20 Hours Ago, CSPAN Reports: The House passes a $14.3 billion aid package for Israel, 226-196. Twelve Democrats joined Republicans in voting for the measure. The bill, which offsets funding with cuts to the IRS heads to the Senate, but Majority Leader Chuck Schumer says he will not take it up for consideration.
ALERT! Majority Leader Chuck Schumer says he will not take it up for consideration. Appropriations Committee Chair Patty Murray says the Senate is crafting its own package that includes aid for Israel, Ukraine, the Indo-Pacific region, and border security funding.
We don’t want to see the United States directly enter the Israel-Hamas conflict. We do want to see the United States play a strong role in deterrence and de-escalation in the form of strong financial aid for critical defense systems to help Israel eliminate the Palestinian-Hamas regime whose terror network is spread around the world, operating and calling the shots in Gaza. We can’t allow Israel to carry the burden of defending the West against Islamic Terror including the savage butchers of the Palestinian Hamas!
Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene stands firmly in her support for Israel's statehood and its right to defend itself. While she voted against a specific aid package to Israel, she noted that the Republican-controlled House already voted in favor of $3.8 billion for Israel's defense, weaponry, and Iron Dome replenishment.
The Congresswoman now urges the Senate to take up the House's already passed Defense and State and Foreign Ops bills, which include $3.8 billion for Israel. The responsibility lies with Chuck Schumer and Senate Democrats to advance these bills for Joe Biden to sign into law. We have added this to our updated, enhanced campaign linked below!
