ELIMINATE ALL DEI PROGRAMS FROM THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT
Since taking office, President Biden has imposed DEI policies across every federal agency, igniting racial tensions we have fought so hard to overcome since the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
These DEI initiatives do not unite us; they drive us further apart. Instead of fostering a sense of community and shared purpose, they exploit our differences to create division and animosity. We must reclaim the spirit of the Civil Rights Movement, which aimed to judge people by the “content of their character, not the color of their skin.”
DEI has been wielded as a weapon to create a partisan divide, aiming to prevent the continuous "walk away" movement and the "red pill effect." The radical Left has always used race, sex, and now abortion to separate us into camps, demonizing differences and polarizing America in such a way that our camps won't talk to one another. These divisive tactics only serve to alienate us from one another, making it harder to find common ground and work together for the common good. Underneath our differences, most of us hold the same American Dream in our hearts.
Senator JD Vance (R-OH) and Congressman Michael Cloud (R-TX-27) have introduced the Dismantle DEI Act to eliminate all federal DEI programs and funding for federal agencies, contractors which receive federal funding, organizations which receive federal grants, and educational accreditation agencies.

The Dismantle DEI Act would unwind Biden’s DEI bureaucracy by rescinding relevant executive orders, terminating Chief Diversity Officers, closing DEI offices, ending DEI and critical race theory trainings, outlawing mandatory employee DEI pledges, and revoking all DEI funding at the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, Department of Health and Human Services, and other federal agencies.
The legislation would also prevent the awarding of federal contracts to entities which employ prohibited DEI practices—last year, nearly $1 trillion of federal contracts were awarded to companies across the defense, aerospace, construction, and other industries.
Finally, the legislation would prevent federal grant recipients across in the medical, energy, and other industries from employing DEI practices, and would also prevent educational accreditation agencies from leveraging their accreditation powers to advance and implement DEI policies at educational institutions.
“The DEI agenda is a destructive ideology that breeds hatred and racial division. It has no place in our federal government or anywhere else in our society,” said Senator Vance. “Americans’ tax dollars should not be co-opted to spread this radical and divisive ideology – this bill would ensure they are not.”
“These initiatives, presented as promoting fairness, have instead fostered division and racial bias within our institutions and culture... This bill is a necessary step to restore merit and equality, not equity, in America’s government institutions, and eliminate the DEI bureaucracy that sows division and wastes taxpayer money. It’s absurd to fund these divisive policies, especially using American’s tax dollars, and it’s time for Congress to put an end to them once and for all,” said Congressman Cloud.
“Americans have had enough. Taxpayers shouldn’t be forced to foot the bill for federal government agencies to push their woke DEI agenda,” said Senator Rick Scott.
