The Second Terror Attack in Eight Years
Our hearts and prayers go out to the families and friends of the nine-year-old and the four adults killed and to the shocking 200 injured, many in critical condition, in the recent terror attack at the Magdeburg Christmas market.
This tragic event marks the second time such a cherished German tradition has been targeted, highlighting a stark failure in preventive measures by the authorities. It's disheartening that simple vehicle barricades were not in place, a basic step that could have potentially deterred this horrifying act due to a lack of intelligence or foresight.
The reality that professionals, including doctors, have been involved in past terror attacks across Europe - from the Glasgow Airport attack in 2007 to the more recent Magdeburg incident - underscores the unpredictable nature of these threats. It's a grim reminder that the enemy can come from within, educated and seemingly integrated into society.
Europe has witnessed a disturbing trend where a significant number of attacks have been perpetrated by individuals who entered as migrants or asylum seekers. Data from Europol, the Center for Immigration Studies, and START InSight indicate that since 2014, Europe has faced numerous Islamist attacks, with some directly linked to individuals who exploited migration routes. The figures are alarming, with over 1,000 individuals murdered or injured since that time.
In this context, the policies of Hungary and Poland stand out. Both nations have maintained a firm stance against illegal immigration, particularly from Muslim-majority countries, and have not experienced Islamic terror attacks on their soil. This correlation between stringent border policies and national security cannot be ignored. It's a lesson from history, perhaps echoing the resolve shown during the Second Siege of Vienna in 1683, where the Hungarian and Polish forces stood united against an existential Islamic threat.
However, the experiences of Austria and Germany, who joined forces with Hungary and Poland in 1683, demonstrate the consequences of neglecting historical lessons and the importance of robust border control. Prevention, through strong border policies and rigorous vetting, is not just about deterrence; it's about protecting our citizens, preserving our cultural heritage, and ensuring that our children can celebrate traditions without fear.
We should learn from those who have successfully kept terror at bay through vigilance and strong policy. It's not about isolation but about sensible, protective measures that respect the right to national security while addressing the root causes of migration and radicalization. Let us honor the victims by ensuring such tragedies do not repeat, through both remembrance and resolute action.

I'm not a heartless man, I know this is a horrible tragedy, however they have no one to blame but themselves. I remember reading about 2 decades ago how the W Europeans were so liberated with their progressively godless ideology that they had lgbtq pastors leading their church's. So they defiled their church's, nation, and families by their own godlessness. That led to the mass immigration of muslims who didn't come to assimilate, they came to rape, plunder, and murder the godless. Not the first time in history they have done that. They took over the most part of W Europe starting about a 1000 years ago. They spent a few hundred years conquering the territory and being driven back out when the Europeans finally repented of some of their wicked ways and began fighting to take back their land and cities. islam, the religion of peace has murdered over 700,000,000 during their 1400 years of existence plus all the soldiers who died in battle with them. Anyone who falls for the lie its a religion of peace is either totally ignorant of the truth or willfully ignorant. In recent history it was accomplished through their stealth invasion of fake Syrian war refugees. Only about 2 or 3% of those refugees came from the war torn part of Syria, the rest came from all the muslim controlled nations in the ME, SE Asia, and Africa. Oh but how great the US is! We are putting lgbtq ministers into the pulpits to lead our progressively godless nation and our boarders are being overrun by the godless from many nations. Try reading the Tanakh (OT). Same thing happened to Israel when they rebelled against God. Sometimes it was 1 to a few tribes taken into captivity for a period of time, sometimes it was the most part of the nation till they were scattered to the 4 corners of the earth. Atheist's laugh claiming the scripture says the world is square. No, the 4 corners means N, S, E, and W, as in scattered throughout the world. I've had many a person who professes to be Christian that claimed they are superior to the Jews because they know Jesus and have salvation. Really???? Then why are the so called Christian nations in apostacy going through the same things Israel went through as written in the OT? Let that sink in, we are not better, we are all in need of repenting, turning to God, and seeking His salvation. I started off spiritually blind to the truth of God's word because my father told me to stop reading the Bible when I first started as a young child. I wanted to be a good person but lost many a battle not understanding why and became what I didn't want to become. By the grace of God He has kept doing a work in this wretches life and worked to change my life around. If He can do it for a wretch like me, He can do it for anyone who truly seeks Him. But that's the key to salvation, we must continually seek Him if we want to find Him and His saving grace. Sin brings judgment. Judgment leads to repentance, repentance leads to forgiveness, and forgiveness leads to God's mercy and salvation. When the fake PA and their evil supporters began violent protests in support of Oct 7 massacre in Israel, I wrote my Senator and rebuked the legislators for bringing them into the nation and telling us to embrace them when Proverbs says who can embrace a burning log and not be burnt!!! Asked him do you now understand the muslims are a burning log and if you tell the people to embrace them, we will be burnt and some of us kept warning you this would happen???? Total silence was his response. Marines would call them educated idiots, but they do have a great education, they are spiritual idiots who think their education will save us and no need for God. In short, the blind leading the blind and wondering why they led them off the edge of the cliff to the pain below. Its time to repent, seek God in prayer, extinguish the burning logs and send them back to where they came from. No more free rides and fake love of their evil ways. Time for righteousness to take the reigns and start leading this nation back to being the light of the world instead of Joe's laughing stock.
In Chapter 13 of her excellent book, "Because They Hate", Brigitte Gabriel says clearly that "Islam Not Only Condones Violence but Commands It Against Infidels". She notes that the terrorists who hijacked the planes on 9/11 "were Muslims who practiced the teachings of the Koran". She goes on to say: "Islamic terrorists the world over, whom we characterize as fanatics, are really just very devout followers of Muhammad. They are following his example and doing exactly what the Koran teaches..." And, then she quotes several of those jihadist verses from the Koran. This is the message that all of us should be promoting to as wide an audience as possible using the social media which still permits us to do it.
