I used to teach my Marines about alternative energy sources like ethanol, biodiesel, wind, and solar, so I've always been for alternative energy sources to supplement our energy needs. But the left turned it into a nightmare forcing we the people to subsidize businesses that didn't have a profitable product to produce energy. They stole a ton of money and helped XI to build our solar panels and sell them to us at a high markup. I warned for 2 decades we are going way to far with wind and solar, it will not be able to replace fossil fuels. Germany was the first to prove that right for they closed down their fossil fuel and nuclear electric plants going near 100% green and found they couldn't keep the lights on, you know like California's godless putting their people through constant blackouts. So they had to reverse, reopen coal, NG, and nuclear plants to provide enough energy. But the US being lefty controlled wouldn't learn from Germany's mistake and continued down the green path of destruction. Oh but the left laughed all the way to the bank. Again, I'm for alternative energy sources, but don't force it down the throats of the people making them pay for what is not profitable and can not keep the lights on.
