THE UN HAS NEVER ENDED A CONFLICT.

BUT IT DOES OFTEN ARRIVE IN TIME TO RAPE THE SURVIVORS.

Amen Amen Amen.

I think it is totally dumb to be playing cat and mouse with these people. Get the job done for heavens sake.

That would have saved many lives long ago.

I say Leave the UN 2

The US set up no fire, restricted fire, and free fire zones in Vietnam. All that did was give the VC and NVA the ability to hide in the restricted fire and no fire zones while keeping the war going on and on and getting many US service members killed and wounded. It ended in defeat. The US sent peace keeping troops to Lebanon. They were under orders to not return fire without higher command authority. Thus the terrorists sniped at them and lobbed mortar attacks upon them, killing and wounding some Marines. They became so bold they sent a truck loaded with explosives to drive at a high speed into the Marine Barracks. 2 anti-tank missile teams overlooked the approach and knew something bad was going to happen, but ducked into their fighting holes because they were under orders to not fire. Nearly 300 Marines were killed in that attack and they left defeated. Lebanon lost its freedom to the terrorists. The US took Iraq and Afghanistan quickly, but foolishly stayed for nation building. The casualties mounted and after 20 years of war, they left in defeat and the US in massive debt and the land retaken by terrorists. Even many US cities (democrat controlled) made the police play nice while the criminals ruled the cities. So playing by the rules has not worked out very well for the US, and it will never work out for Israel. War is hell, and its kill or be killed. I don't want killing, I don't want war, but unfortunately not everyone feels the same way and thus we must be able to deal with them with appropriate force when they attack. The international court is a kangaroo court run by the socialist/communist/islamic radicals, so it needs to be disbanded.

"Playing by the rules" is not what the weak leaders did. The problem was a failure to make a clear ultimatum with a clear objective; a short time scale; and well-defined, overwhelming, but sure consequences for noncompliance. The objective defines victory. And that's it!

Right on. Islam only understands complete defeat. It needs to crushed. Islam needs to be exposed for what it really is - a morally corrupt political system under the guise of a religion. It is bankrupt of any redeeming values. The media needs to stop using names, ie. radical, terrorist, a highjacked religion, etc.

Last night at 9pm, Newsmax aired an apologist program about Islam and American Muslims. Did you see it?

Well that sounds disappointing. Well look for it and talk to Newsmax, if needed. Thank you.

The Philistines were called the "Sea People" for they came from across the Med, mostly from the Aegean Sea area. They were extremely violent people who worshiped violence and death. Their favorite weapons were arrows to kill at a distance, and iron for it was stronger in battle than bronze that the Israeli's had. They settled in the coastal plains that today we call Gaza. They constantly launched attacks upon Israel keeping them in fear of death. It was King David who eventually brought about iron smelting for the Israelis and dealt some hard blows to the Philistines, and in the book of Psalms referred to them as hamas for hamas means violence. When talk about Israel being brought back as a nation began around the beginning of the 1900's, talk about the Philistines also began. Why, because satan always mimics God. God brought Israel back as a nation May 14, 1948, and years later satan brought back hamas to the coastal plains that we call Gaza. Their favorite weapon is the arrow in the form of rockets, and they're made of iron. Israel's defense is the Iron dome, and a few others with the name iron in them, plus David's Sling. It's not the Sea People who have taken the land, its mostly Egyptian and Jordanians who entered the Gaza strip when the wars with Israel began. And they rightfully chose the name hamas because they are violent people who worship violence and death the same as the OT Philistines did. So the bible is playing out right before the eyes of the world, but most can not see it.

To watch Newsmax, do I go to YouTube and stream it? Or what? (I still have cable tv, but also stream sometimes...

Dear Brigitte, I feel your passion and how you want Israelis and Jews to have healthy boundaries that defend and uphold our value, power and survival. I agree with you for the most part, but I do think Israelis and Jews everywhere (and followers of other religions too) need to behave with awareness that there is a Higher Power and a Higher Law.

I've prayed about Israel and felt strongly the response that it is just and fair for Israel to exist, and to defend herself. But I still think the slogan of Hamas supporters - "by any means necessary" - for example, when they defended the behaviors and thinking of Hamas on October 7, 2023 - is not at all what our Higher Power thinks, or wants us to do. Forgive me if you already agree and if you didn't think it was necessary to restate this.

Even if people don't believe in a Higher Power I think it's important - there have been studies of veterans which show that when soldiers commit atrocities - kill civilians or commit unnecessary violence - their PTSD afterwards is more severe and more long-lasting than the PTSD of soldiers who did their duty but didn't lose their emotional balance - didn't "go nuts" on the battlefield. Hope you don't mind this contribution to your passionate support! Love to you and all readers!

What a lame excuse for not annihilating terrorists who wouldn't think twice about murdering you and your entire family and the entire US. PTSD? Thankgods you're obviously not in the military. You'd stand by praying to a "higher power and higher law" while unarmed, innocent people died.

Thank you, Brigitte! I felt bad because two other commentors seemed to think I was advocating for countries or soldiers not to fight back - which I wasn't! Your response was like balm on a wound. Bless you - for your passion, your writing, your activism.

While we do have to answer to God for our actions, no one is advocating committing atrocities that are vile and evil except for the left and terrorists. As the bible says, there is a time for war and a time for peace. This is a time for war and its kill or be killed when your on the firing line. Many times when your staring in the face of death you only have a split second to respond, no time to think about it, you simply must respond. You stop to think about it and your dead. Until you've lived through it, you will not understand it. My heart breaks for them because I've stared in the face of death several times, I know how hair raising it can get, but I thank God I never had to pull the trigger on anyone, He has always spared my life even though its not worth sparing. As for PTSD, I've suffered massive PTSD over the years as I've wrestled with the demons of torment. Spent many 3 to 5 days with little to no sleep while wrestling with demons of torment. Have spent a few 24-30 hour periods wrestling with the angle of the Lord also. Twice I've entered a hospital and slept for 3 days, both times being kept for 10 days total. All the Kings horses and all the Kings men haven't been able to figure it out, but I know the scriptures that speak of all I've lived through. Rarely do I teach it to the so called educated elite. I thank God for all He has brought me through and all He has taught me along the way. My time of war is not yet over, but I hope it shall come to an end and a new life shall come forth. Be thankful if your not called to fight because there is no life in fighting, but don't condemn my brothers and sisters who must fight to stay alive while protecting you when you don't know what its about. Let God be God and let Him deal with them in His way, for as He said, My ways are not your ways, My thoughts are not your thoughts, as Heaven is above the earth so am I above you.

Israel is an illegal occupier. Time to deconstruct and relocate it. The world has been too lenient on Israel and too compliant to the usa.

I wonder what would happen if Israel announced that if Hamas doesn’t return all hostages and surrender in one week, the gloves will come fully off and they will be annihilated the following week (civilian casualties be damned). Or if the ICC finds Israel guilty of genocide, just go ahead and do it. I mean you’re already going to suffer the consequences. Might as well get the benefit of eradicating the people who refuse to live in peace with you.

Elio Ronchini's avatar

Eliminate Hamas at any cost. Why won’t the Palestinians in Gaza just tell the IDF where Hamas is hiding the hostages and put an end to this nonsense.

Pithy Pragmatist's avatar

Because they support Hamas.

I never heard of playing by any rules in war . It’s all talk and looking in charge of the situation. And keep them guessing. And keep the lies updated.
