Dear Friends,
As Jewish people across the globe gather around the Menorah to celebrate Hanukkah, we are reminded more than ever of the courage and strength of the Maccabees, who prevailed against all odds, and that goodness does triumph over evil. We are reminded of the miracles that took place and of greater ones to follow.
I dream of a miracle this Hanukkah. I dream that the descendants of Abraham our father will one day be able to live together in peace and trust. I pray that the land flowing with milk and honey, with its beautiful rolling hills and verdant fields would bring peace and happiness to all its descendants including Jews, Muslims, and Christians.
With this faith we will be able to work together, to pray together, to struggle together, to stand up for freedom together.
One voice is not enough. We must all get up and say, “Enough of the hatred and violence. We want to live together in peace, and we want it now.” We must speak out loud and strong so that our voices reverberate from the mountains, and the echoes will proclaim peace, sisterhood, and brotherhood throughout the land.
This Hanukkah I am calling on all peace-loving Arabs across the globe to speak up and get organized to stand for love and peace in the Middle East and to accept the Jewish people's right to exist in their state.
May the lights of Hanukkah usher in a better world for all humankind. May the light of friendship and all things divine shine brightly.
My Jewish friends, I stand with you unequivocally, unapologetically, steadfastly, and devoted to bringing our people together to stand shoulder to shoulder in peace, harmony, and love.
I look forward to celebrating with you the return of all hostages and your victory over Hamas.
I wish you and your family Chag Hanukkah Sameach!
Always Devoted,
Brigitte Gabriel
Genesis 12:3 states we should bless Abraham...we must certainly pray for and bless our Jewish brothers...at the same moment Jesus told us to pray for our enemies. So of course I pray for & bless my Jewish brothers, but I also pray for our enemies that they would come to know Messiah.
