It wasn't (non-RINO) Republican voters not voting; it was massive vote fraud not brought to justice!

Well Trump wouldn’t endorse the GOP nominee so there you go thanks MAGA

Democrats are stupid people.

The stupid and lazy voters in Virginia are getting what they deserve. (Tip of the hat to Karl Marx)

If only it were ONLY the stupid and lazy who had to eat the just desserts. Sadly, it is all of the voters and the rest of the nation. As an educated and diligent voter from Maine, I know how it feels to live in such a place.

I do agree that we, the people, get the government we deserve. But as the Prophet Josey Wales once said, "Deserving's got nothing to do with it, kid."

Just don’t EVER vote democrat!

The problem in Maine is our Republicans are better Democrats than actual Democrats! Susan Collins actually voted more liberally than Maxine Waters- let that sink in. The California Senator, Maxine Waters voted with Republicans 25% of the time (this was circa 2015, and according to Mark Levin's Liberty Score). While our Maine Republican Senator voted only 12% of the time, with HER OWN PARTY. So, there's that!

Thanks for the info, very concerning and needing action but the blitheringly dumb comments that appear on this thread, all help prove Brigitte to be potetially very accurate in her assessment and suggested anarchistic reactions that are laid out by her.

Ya get what ya vote for so don’t be lazy

I vaguely remember when VA was a Republican state. Then, it became purple. Now, it is solidly blue and doomed. By the way, if you think all of these bills are bad, wait until you get a look at the proposed anti-gun, anti-Second Amendment bills. If Virginians allow the Second Amendment to be gutted, it won't be long before the rest of their civil rights are buried.

This is exactly why voting every two or four years is not enough.

Politics is not an event. It is a process. The Left understands this. Conservatives pretend it isn’t.

Conservatives show up at election time with a few rational talking points and assume logic will carry the day. Meanwhile, the Left operates in permanent campaign mode. Media. Schools. NGOs. Entertainment. Corporate money. Activist judges. Cultural pressure. All of it, all the time. Twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, from cradle to grave.

When the outcome depends entirely on a few weeks of messaging, you are already losing. That is not a strategy. That is wishful thinking.

Many people on the Left are not persuaded because persuasion was never the goal. Conditioning was. Indoctrination works precisely because it removes the need to think. That is why facts often bounce off. You are arguing logic against a worldview installed early and reinforced constantly.

And this is why independent journalists matter. Not the kind subsidized by foundations, advertisers, or political machines. The kind of work without a safety net. I do this full-time, and there are weeks when my bank account is nearly empty. That is not a sob story. It is the economic reality of refusing to lie for a living.

The Left funds its narrative infrastructure. Conservatives largely consume content and hope someone else pays for it.

Virginia is not an anomaly. It is the model. What happens when one side campaigns nonstop and the other treats politics like a seasonal hobby.

If conservatives do not build parallel institutions, support independent voices, and stay engaged year-round, November will not be close. It will be decisive, and not in our favor.

This is not about panic. It is about realism. And realism has never been optional.

Read my essay and tell me I'm wrong.

Virginia is cooked, just like NYC. Unfortunately, the republicans are going to lose the house and senate at the midterms. The first thing the dems will do is try, once again, to impeach Trump. This troubles me greatly. I'll vote republican, but I live in CA, so my vote doesn't do much anymore. I really wish that I felt better about this, but I can clearly see the "writing on the wall".

Virginians wanted this

They voted for it

They got it

Republicans couldn’t be bothered to vote 🤷‍♂️

ENJOY! 👋🏻
