Act for America is currently awaiting an update from the office of Senate President Warren Peterson regarding Adrian Fontes' potential encroachment upon the exclusive authority of the legislature in shaping election laws and procedures. Despite the initial letter sent, there have been no additional public statements from Secretary of State Fontes, leaving the situation in suspense. As this unfolds, it is anticipated that Fontes may choose to respond with silence, thereby challenging the steadfastness of the legislature in defending its constitutional prerogatives.

Stop the Weaponization of Empty Threats by the Governor, Attorney General, and Secretary of State-Ban the Voting Machines!
On June 12th, a significant development occurred as the Arizona State Legislature passed a law HB 2722 aimed at clarifying existing statutes that grant authority to the Board of Supervisors in each county to conduct elections with up to a 100% hand count. This legislative action was prompted by our earlier Act for America grassroots initiative, prior to the mid-term elections, where over 2 million emails, phone calls, and petitions were mobilized, urging Supervisors to opt for hand count elections. During this period, then-Secretary of State Katie Hobbs issued threats of potential arrests against Supervisors if they pursued this course of action. Furthermore, County Attorneys were involved in perceived acts of intimidation and overstepping their roles, departing from their expected role of providing counsel to the Supervisors.
However, the situation took another twist when Katie Hobbs, now serving as Acting Governor, swiftly vetoed the bill that aimed to provide greater clarity to the existing election law. Despite the veto, the original statute granting counties the authority to conduct 100% hand count elections remains intact. This legal framework empowers all counties to exercise this option, regardless of the objections and threats raised by Democrats, figures like Marc Elias, County Attorneys, the current Attorney General Mayes, and the Secretary of State.
On August 11th, Attorney General Mayes Advised County Attorneys on Manual Ballot Counting. Attorney General Mayes advised Arizona’s fifteen county attorneys that despite the assertions made by a group of legislators, Arizona statutes do not give counties the authority to count all ballots manually instead of using automatic tabulating equipment.
These empty threats from Democrats are being weaponized against the people, knowing full well that the nations SUPREME LAW, the US Constitution, grants the state legislature ABSOLUTE plenary authority to determine election laws and procedures. The question is whether the legislature has the resolve to call their bluff and FIGHT FOR AZ!
It’s time for the people of Arizona to send a clear message to the legislature that We the People have empowered and support the legislatures passage of SCR 1037 and demand a conventional, hand count election in our state!

I have followed you for quite a few years - before Substack. Great work - and you must know about Dr. Mark Christian - former Muslim from Egypt - .....! Right here in River City Omaha Ne ('Not for every body!"?). But here's the thing - we cannot yet have "that discussion"!
Speaking of County Boards of Supervisors,.....elections .... SoS, AG - are you familiar with Robert J. Borer@substack.com? (We the People?) If not - he does have skin in the game also - in the fight for our elections -and the one stolen. Ne. sounds like AZ - and that is a pattern across the USA! Many refusals for records etc. not to mention rediculus attempts to head off citizen action, and no discussions with County Board of Supervisors! Even during limited "Citizen Comments" at Open? Meetings?

During "Citizen Comments" I was interrupted, publicly scorned and called "racist",... by the Presiding Officer, than by my own Commissioner (Daughter of a former Mayor and Supervisor) thay left her chair to run to the Podium to declare me guilty of "Hate Speech" ! This near the end of the video!
What you don't see and probably can't hear - is my attempt to protest and answer their Unconstitutional attack on a Citizen's Constitutional rights - publicly! I said nothing that you or Dr. Christian would say in re: to Constitution Day 9/17 and the differences - that need to be openly discussed - across this Country.
Not just Re; Muslims but the Illegal, migrant, disaster being encouraged, aide by an illegitimate Gov't (Federal and State & Local)! These gov'ts have declared all who follow you , Dr. Christian, Robert J. Borer, Substackers, and all "deplorables", ... the enemy, guilty of Racism, Hate Speech,....!
