That's at least negligent homicide, the average citizen would likely have been charged with manslaughter, but no charges for the Senator.
At yet another tier, a minority violent felon repeat offender walks out with no cash bail as it costs the average citizen like Daniel Penny, thousands of dollars to be set free. So yeah it's multi tiered.
